Published Oct 1, 2020
Hi everyone! As CSU applications open up, I wanted to start a thread for all of my fellow pre-nursing students looking to transfer to CSULB!

Wow, I really hope this isn't the case because SJSU requires decisions by April 30th, and basically every other school requires them by May 1st! Although CSULB is my first choice, I still would like more than LESS THAN 24 hours to think everything over???

I saw that the people who got accepted to Csulb have until may 1st to accept their admissions, which leaves the people who got waitlisted to probably get the notice a new days after that

Do they really expect us to determine if we want to accept the admissions like less than a week of the SON emailing us? That's a bit unprofessional on their part since they said they'd email us less than a month after the exercise.. Is anyone else getting anxious and a little agitated...

Hey Guys, I got my letter.
But the orientation date is way wrong. I'm worried they might have sent out acceptances incorrectly. And I actually didn't get in.
For reference
Science GPA 3.7
Non science GPA 4.0
TEAS 94
Reading TEAS 91

Finally!! Just got the email at 3:33pm today as well! I noticed the wrong date for orientation too (I think she copied and pasted the December date meant for Spring 2020’s email) but the attached letter says it’s on Saturday, June 5 from 8:00am-3:30pm, and I do remember the staff making a statement during the interviews that orientation will be on June 5. Hopefully no students are left in the dust about their admission at this point and congratulations to those who got the email ?

According to the academic calendar, the first day of instruction is August 23. Not sure about the second question tho
