CSULB Nursing Fall 2021

Hi everyone! As CSU applications open up, I wanted to start a thread for all of my fellow pre-nursing students looking to transfer to CSULB! 

@sssara @angel5678 Does it say if you are waitlisted for the nursing program? I got an email but it doesn't mention much

I tried calling the number given on the application status page to find out where I am on the wait list. The lady was rude and not helpful. Not sure where else to find out....

Wanted to remind you guys that they did say during the interview and also on the FAQ on their website that they cannot disclose waitlist information. Just wanted to save you guys the extra steps of calling and asking.

I applied for Spring 2021 and I received the waitlist email from CSULB and I received a separate email from SON saying I was waitlisted as well. I don't know if there is any correlation but I would assume so based on the past Spring 2021 thread that there is one.

Congrats! Yes, I think that is the admissions decision. I double checked by using the Applicant Self Service portal and it states, "you have been offered admission", so I believe so!

Side note: Does anyone know when the deadline to accept and/or deny admission is? It doesn't seem to state it in the email.

I believe the deadline to accept/deny is May 1.

Out of curiosity, do you know what your impaction score for Long Beach is.

This is interesting! My email does not include this but perhaps it is because my admissions decision came from CSULB's Graduate Admissions team. I'll definitely be reaching out them to double check that it is also May 1st for us. Thank you!!
