CSULA Fall 2021

Hi all! 
I just wanted to create this forum for students who are applying to CSULA Fall 2021 for the BSN Nursing track in case we had questions for each other, wanted to share thoughts, stats and to support each other through this journey. 

I was wondering if anyone has applied and knew if CSULA requires verification for volunteer hours in their NursingCAS application portion? Also, will they accept any amount of volunteer hours under 50? I know you can add a document. Thank you!

Same! When did you get your first email? I feel like they are still in the process of sending out the emails. I got my first email on Sunday morning, but everyone here got it before that.

I'm in the same boat as you! Got my acceptance email to the school yesterday but still haven't heard from the nursing program. I think they will send out more information soon. Even though I'm super anxious we just have to be patient.

I'm sure you have a chance! People seemingly get their Nursing Department emails during the early morning times. Just give it another day! Also, may I ask what were your stats? ? Congrats in advance!

I got the general acceptance mail on Monday morning.I have a 3.85 GPA overall and on the prereqs, 88.7% TEAS,and 200+ hours healthcare work experience.

Me too! I just received my second email this morning also. I have sent an email to ---------------------- that I will be attending CSULA ?

HI everyone ! Current Pre-Nursing student here ! I got the email 10 - 15 minutes ago. So happy to meet everyone!

I got an email saying I got rejected cuz no application was on file when I submitted everything on NursingCas and all. They bout to get a fight out of me tooth and mail cuz I submitted that and I’m not going down with no fight on this.

I got in too! But I was wondering how much the Spring semester grades counted? One of my classes is really hard and I'm worried that getting a B this semester might affect my acceptance

I hope you get it sorted out, and definitely reach out to them! Did you have both application in the nursingCAS and CSU app?

Yes I did on both of them... I just emailed them proof and ready to fight for it.. I have a appeal incase ready so ain’t going down with no fight.
