CSULA Fall 2021

Published

Hi all!
I just wanted to create this forum for students who are applying to CSULA Fall 2021 for the BSN Nursing track in case we had questions for each other, wanted to share thoughts, stats and to support each other through this journey.

I was wondering if anyone has applied and knew if CSULA requires verification for volunteer hours in their NursingCAS application portion? Also, will they accept any amount of volunteer hours under 50? I know you can add a document. Thank you!

I'm so nervous about applying!

I think you should include any amount of experience since it’s one of the three main things they look for. And I love the idea of this thread, I’m feeling nervous too and I think we can all share stats here to see where we stand!

Also, I do not see anywhere on the NursingCas application a place for personal statements, essays, or a "why you should accept me" type of thing. I thought this would be included ... does anyone have feedback? Do they strictly just want grades, TEAS scores, and work/volunteer experience?

Theres a separate application on their website to fill out and mail in!

Hello Everyone!

I'll be applying for Fall 2021 as a transfer student from Sac State. Do you mind sharing stats?

what are your stats?

Hey guys! I'm also applying for fall 2021 but I'm having some trouble with the NursingCas application, for some reason I don't see Cal State LA on there. Anyone else having this issue?

Is this Forum for the ABSN program or the BSN program?

BSN I think!

Current CSULA BSN student here. Feel free to ask any questions. ☺️

When applying on Cal State Apply, did you guys pick your major as "Nursing - Basic Pre-Licensure BSN (Pre-Major)"?
