CSULA FALL 2020

Hello. I wanted to create this forum for people who are applying to Cal State Los Angeles for Fall 2020. This is a place where we can discuss and compare statistics between us, as well as ask questions regarding the program. Thank you and good luck to you all!

Huh, that's weird. My email just said to send transcripts within 30 days and to pay the $100 by May 1st, which seems like what most ppl here got as well. I wonder why your email told you to email --------------- by March 27th?

She's a current student. She explained above. ?

Hi hi! Everything is by email. You can expect it by June or so.

That is an acceptance letter. It was also the same for transfers last year. Orientation emails should be sent to you guys around June, too. @Roxy Marielle Banzuela correct me if I'm wrong sis please HAHA

Has anyone’s portal went from Admitted to incomplete? Not sure if it’s because my transcripts haven’t arrived yet... but it still weirds me out that it says incomplete. I paid the 100$ already.

Mine still says admitted, but I'm pretty sure you're right about them not receiving your transcripts yet. Based on the stuff that I've read from past semesters, it will do that repeatedly until they receive everything from your To do list. If you're still worried, I'd just call the school to check.

I think you’re right. I don’t think they wouldn’t randomly take away your admission LOL. Still freaks me out tho

? They won't. They said to give it about two weeks for the system to update after sending stuff in.

@CocoaQueen I think you’re right... but after everything I’ve been thru, I emailed to be sure LOL. I’m paranoid haha.

Also, I checked my online portal and under financial year 2020-2021 it says: "You have no financial aid awards available for viewing in this aid year."

Does this mean I did not qualify for any financial aid awards at all this year? Or does this mean that CSULA has not posted the financial aid for that year yet? Does anybody else’s say this. Thank you everyone!

Mine says that as well, but I'm in a different pickle. I just updated my FAFSA and added CSULA because I really had no idea which school I'd get into. I'm just waiting to see what happens after this with hopes that I didn't shoot myself in the foot.

Gotcha. Yeah your situation is a little different. I updated mine in December because I didn’t realize you had to put possible future schools in the application so I only put my current CC LOL. I think you should Be fine. Deadline is May 1.
