Hello. I wanted to create this forum for people who are applying to Cal State Los Angeles for Fall 2020. This is a place where we can discuss and compare statistics between us, as well as ask questions regarding the program. Thank you and good luck to you all!

I sent my transcripts electronically. Here’s the link to information on what schools you can send electronic transcripts from. Just click on the gray tab that says electronic transcripts. http://www.calstatela.edu/admissions/submitting-documents

They do but only from specific schools. I sent mine thru the National Student Clearinghouse. Since this whole Coronavirus thing has closed the schools down, they will be more flexible with transcripts. I would contact CSULA to be sure though.

CONGRATS everyone!! I received my acceptance letter on March 17. It said I have until March 27 to email ------------- with my decision. I emailed her on the first day because this is my first choice school LOL! And based on the old system I have 25 points. My stats are: 3.97 overall GPA, 3.96 pre-req GPA, 88 TEAS score, 170 volunteer hours, and current student.
Also in the email it said we will be mailed an information packet with the orientation agenda, nursing course schedule, etc.. Can we expect that in the mail or by email?

I'm so confused. So the letters we received via email stating "Congratulations on your admission into the Nursing program..." isn't really an acceptance letter? ??

That is your acceptance letter! I believe they send out the acceptance emails to transfer students first and then current students. Since I'm a Cal State LA student I barley received mine a few days ago... Did your email mention orientation or the information packet?

Oh OK. You almost gave me a heartache ??. There was no mention of an information packet, but there may have been something about orientation. It basically just said to pay the $100 fee in order to reserve the spot.

No, it said nothing about orientation or information packet. Just said to pay the 100$ to hold your spot and congratulations, that’s basically it.

Haha so sorry. OK thanks! My email said it will be on July 14 and 15 but no mention of $100 payment. I guess since I already paid the fee when I first enrolled in the college.

I noticed on the acceptance email that we have to send transcripts within 30 days of receiving the email. Does anyone know whether CSULA accepts electronic transcripts (pdf)?
