CSULA FALL 2020

Hello. I wanted to create this forum for people who are applying to Cal State Los Angeles for Fall 2020. This is a place where we can discuss and compare statistics between us, as well as ask questions regarding the program. Thank you and good luck to you all!

Also, I checked my online portal and under financial year 2020-2021 it says: "You have no financial aid awards available for viewing in this aid year."

Does this mean I did not qualify for any financial aid awards at all this year? Or does this mean that CSULA has not posted the financial aid for that year yet? Does anybody else’s say this. Thank you everyone!

Mine says the same thing! I think CSULA just hasn't posted the financial aid yet.

Then I checked my portal and it said Admitted and to send transcripts. 2 days later I got a new email saying I was admitted. Crazy-ness. I wonder if they just miss people’s applications or if they just randomly pick people... so strange LOL. I thought they only pick 70 people so I find it weird that they accept people after contacting them... are you accepting the offer? Or are your waiting on a different echool

I emailed the SON with my appeal. Definitely going to accept this offer. I have also applied to CSULB, Rio Hondo, and LA County College of Allied Health... but even if I get admitted I won't be accepting haha

? Thank you! I'm actually a transfer, so our letter was a lot different. I didn't have to contact --------------- at all, just had to pay a $100 fee to secure the spot. I guess paying the $100 serves as a confirmation of us accepting the offer. @chocoroo is a current student ?

Hi everyone! I just want to inform you all that I totally did the math wrong on this. I spoke with another current CSULA student and we crunched the numbers. CSULA with everything is like 21,000$-22,000$ which is wayyy less than I thought. I thought you had to purchase ATI every semester but it turns out you only need to buy it once for the entire program drastically changing the price. That said, I’m thinking CSULA is gonna be MY school! ????? CSULB is still a little cheaper since it is 1 semester less, but only by like 3,500$. Just wanted to let you all know in case anyone was weirded out by me saying it would be 30,000$ LOL.
