CSULA Fall 2016 Nursing (BSN)

Updated:   Published

I realize it may be early, but I wanted to start a thread for the CSULA Fall 2016 nursing program hopefuls. I'm sure we will all have a lot of questions, especially because of the upcoming semester conversion. I have plenty of questions about application deadlines, volunteer hours, TEAS, etc. It will be nice to have a community where we can ask each other questions and offer advice. Eventually we can share stats, and we may even end up in the same cohort!

Don't forget CSULBs deadline to turn in transcripts is coming up soon!

Haha thanks! I know, I sent them on monday! :)

I got in!!!!!!!!!!!!! so happy rn

To everyone who made it, please don't forget to join the group so we get to know each other before Fall starts! Log into Facebook | Facebook

Idk if I calculated my points wrong and I actually have less than 24, but I'm like 100% sure I do have those points. Should I email M.L., and ask why others with 24 points made it or should I just wait? Because I saw on last year's thread that someone's points were miscalculated.

I calculated my points and I got 25, but I got a rejection letter. I am so confused, but I emailed Monica. I'm actually going to give her a call later.

I don't get it, lol. The letter stated that my points were lower than other applicants. Unless I counted my points wrong...

I just sent her an email just now too. Hopefully we hear back soon.

If you guys wanna share your stats, we could try to help you figure it out? Good luck :)

Yeah you should share your stats. Maybe we could help you guys out. Did anyone notice it wasn't Monica that sent those emails? Someone else is the director of the nursing program lol

I'm at current Public Health student at CSULA and I got wait listed (23 pts). Does anyone know about waitlisting? How many people are wait listed and are the chances of being accepted very very slim? Will they give a call in the next month?

Congrats to everyone that got in! I was waitlisted, but I'm choosing CSULB's program anyway so hopefully that'll bump some of you up on the waitlist :)
