CSULA BSN Program Fall 2018
I would like to extend my congratulations to those who have been accepted so far! The CSULA School of Nursing is a great one and I hope you guys are ready to experience three years with each other! It would be smart for someone to start an FB page for Class of 2021, so you guys can meet and be comfortable with each other prior to starting the program! Once again, congratulations to the ones who already got accepted and to those who will be!

CSULA BSN Fall 2017
You're so nice haha. Oh, and my bad. I thought you meant the upper GE theme classes they require everyone to take. Yeah, many of my friends took online classes to get enough units to reach full time since all our Nursing class units don't equal 12 units aka full time í ½í¸© My name is Chris by the way. I can't wait to meet you all during orientation this summer í ½í±Œ

CSULA BSN Fall 2017
Sorry, I don't reply fast enough. I don't get notifications on my email that you're replying Yes, it's recommended for transfer students to take upper div classes during the the Fall semesters of your first and second years since those semesters are usually lighter in course materials. You have two types of "labs" I suppose. An actual simulated lab where you practice assessment with each other (the room is built like a multiple-room clinic) and the other lab where the room is built like an emergency department equipped with manikins. This is where youll be spending the bulk of your time in first semester in these labs. I don't know how to answer your question lmao it's spring break and my brain is basically off í ½í¸‚í ½í¸‚ Oh, and don't fret asking too much questions or concerns lol. I am more happy to answer them.

CSULA Fall 2016 Nursing (BSN)
Did you apply for the Fall 2017 BSN program, @Socal_EMT?

CSULA BSN Fall 2017
I'm enjoying it. Met a lot of friends in the program whom I de-stress with. The classes themselves are very concept-based, so it's taking me a while to accommodate my old pre-nursing study methods (rote memorization, quizlet, etc) and find new ways to study the materials. Just a heads up, I guess lol.

CSULA BSN Fall 2017
Hi Luisa! You don't need FB now, but once classes start, you're going to want to make one lol. All the updates/news within your cohort are primarily going to be announced and made in the page. xx

CSULA BSN Fall 2017
Congratulations to everyone who got accepted! Class of 2020!!!! It would be a smart idea for one of you guys to start a FB group for everyone to join and get to know each other. I can't wait to see your excited (and anxious haha) faces during orientation this year and I, along with the Class of 2019 officers, am more than willing to offer my hand to mentor you guys throughout the program ☺ï¸âœŠï¸

CSULA BSN Fall 2017
It's a great program, IMO. It does demand so much time away from school to catch up and study, so expect a lot of reading. Our Pharmacology class has 10 chapters assigned in one lecture day - it's terrifying haha, but you get used to it. The program itself is, as Rachel said, kind of disorganized due to the recent quarter-semester conversion. So, I think just be patient with them. I can't wait to meet you guys this year!

CSULA Fall 2016 Nursing (BSN)
Sorry for the late reply, estoque. If I remember correctly, we just had to scan our TEAS results to NursingCAS during the application process. Your volunteer responsibilities sound acceptable. Haha. They want you to have some form of patient interaction, so even delivering trays would suffice. Contact Monica Ling if you have any more questions regarding this. For the application process, you can be taking Statistics and Microbiology until March. The rest must be done prior to application to SON. For application to CSULA, please call Monica or the school. I was already a CSULA student when I applied, so I don't know how the school registration works with transfers.
