CSULA Fall 2016 Nursing (BSN)

Updated:   Published

I realize it may be early, but I wanted to start a thread for the CSULA Fall 2016 nursing program hopefuls. I'm sure we will all have a lot of questions, especially because of the upcoming semester conversion. I have plenty of questions about application deadlines, volunteer hours, TEAS, etc. It will be nice to have a community where we can ask each other questions and offer advice. Eventually we can share stats, and we may even end up in the same cohort!

I had 27 & I got in ! this year ALL 25s and higher got in. I heard that some 24s also got in but some also got waitlisted so that all depends. Every year the pool is different and it just becomes more competitive. but with a 27 you should not worry !

Sorry for the late reply, estoque.

If I remember correctly, we just had to scan our TEAS results to NursingCAS during the application process.

Your volunteer responsibilities sound acceptable. Haha. They want you to have some form of patient interaction, so even delivering trays would suffice. Contact Monica Ling if you have any more questions regarding this.

For the application process, you can be taking Statistics and Microbiology until March. The rest must be done prior to application to SON. For application to CSULA, please call Monica or the school. I was already a CSULA student when I applied, so I don't know how the school registration works with transfers.

Did you apply for the Fall 2017 BSN program, @Socal_EMT?
