Afraid I wont get into SJSU Nursing program!!
Hey there! I'm not too familiar with the SJSU nursing program but I can tell you that you shouldn't count yourself out. I would definitely recommend applying to more than just SJSU's program in case. There are a lot of CSU's and even a couple UC's that have BSN programs. I myself applied to 7 BSN programs and though I didn't get my top choice, I was able to get into a few nursing programs and even into one of my dream schools :) Definitely do well on your TEAS and if you have time, take a look at SJSU's point system or their criteria on selecting their admits. In fact, take a look at several other program criterias. Honestly your grades are fine but if you really want to get those A's, contact your school to see if you can retake some of those classes. If nursing is your passion, then don't give up so easily. Just make sure to keep your mind open about other programs and keep at it! Good luck!

Csulb fall 2016 applicants!
Hey all! Sad to say this but I emailed the SON notifying them of my withdrawal of acceptance into the traditional BSN program this Fall. I know orientation is next week but hopefully this will bump another alternate up into my spot last minute. Good luck to everyone pursuing their BSN at CSULB this fall and to the alternates still looking to get in! :)

Thank you once again for your help and advice. I will take everything you've said into deep consideration. Ah I see, I just got my titers for MMRV and Hep B last week as well as renewing my chest x ray exam. So I just got to order that background check and get a physical :).

Csulb fall 2016 applicants!
And another thing my parents brought up is that a couple thousand people apply for the uci nursing including mostly freshman and they only take in 10-15 transfers each fall so the think uci would be an amazing opportunity for me. UCI apparently only takes in 30 freshman and up to 20 transfer each year O.O

Oh haha. I thought you already got your lab results? Btw how long did the background check take to process? And yea I get what you mean. But that's the thing, UCI has been one of my dream schools ever since I moved down to california. Csulb was just one of my back up choices until i visited the school and researched more about their program making them of my top choices now. I won't be commuting since I'll be living on campus. I know both are commuter schools but which one do you think would be the more social environment? And hopefully you get into the trimester then! It seems like a lot of people want that since it finishes the fastest O.O.

Csulb fall 2016 applicants!
Thank you so much! That was a lot of very informative advice and I greatly appreciate. I am still leaning towards CSULB because I have already started the health package and SIR'ED to the school but part of me still considers UCI because it was one of my initial dream schools. Also my parent are urging me to choose UCI because they believe it will be better for my resume in the future. I actually did not know about getting some tuition paid off by LBMH which sounds awesome. I would enjoy the more diverse aspect as well since I'm loving on campus. This is such a hard decision but thank you sooo much for your input. It really help shed some light. Btw how is the health package going for ya?

Csulb fall 2016 applicants!
Hi guys! Sorry too bother you all but I recently got accepted for UCI nursing and I've already been accepted to CSULB nursing. HOWEVER I'm completely torn between the two schools as I have to decide soon since our contracts for CSULB SON are due very soon. I will be planning on living on campus and use financial aid/loans to pay for the tuition so money isn't my biggest issue right now. What is my issue is which program do you guys think will be better off for me considering passing the NCLEX and finding a job asap. I have done research on both CSULB and UCI and honestly, I love both. That is why I need your guys help in deciding which one. Also since I'm planning on living on campus I would prefer the most social environment. Please guys, if you have any insight I would GREATLY appreciate it. I didn't know where else to turn and I already spoke to my parents about it. Thank you guys for your time! please help me decide if you can!!!

CSULB or UCI for BSN? PLEASE HELP!!!
Hi everyone! Let me start off by saying I feel absolutely blessed for the opportunity to have gotten accepted to CSULA, CSULB, and UCI nursing programs for Fall 2016. I already spoke to my parents about it and it has come down to either CSULB or UCI. This is one of the HARDEST decisions of my life and honestly, I would be happy to go to either school. I'm absolutely flustered right now and really need your guy's help on deciding which one I should attend for my BSN. I don't have many factors for either school yet because I will be taking on loans and financial aid to pay for the program. It really come down to which school environment/ program/ long term experience job hunting will be the best for me. I would love a social environment school because I will be living on campus but most importantly, the program which will help me become the best nurse I can be, with firs passing the NCLEX and finding a job. So please.. if you guys have any insight or advice, I could really use them. Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read about my dilemma. PLEASE HELP if you can! Thank you!!!
