I realize it may be early, but I wanted to start a thread for the CSULA Fall 2016 nursing program hopefuls. I'm sure we will all have a lot of questions, especially because of the upcoming semester conversion. I have plenty of questions about application deadlines, volunteer hours, TEAS, etc. It will be nice to have a community where we can ask each other questions and offer advice. Eventually we can share stats, and we may even end up in the same cohort!
It has to mean that we are accepted. The school of nursing had to have notified the University which sent out the acceptance letters.
That's what I am thinking too. I mean, admissions wouldn't send out acceptance letters without a source which should be from the SON itself. Also, for us transfers, it would of stated a major other than NURSING BS if we had not gotten admitted. However, it would be more reassuring from the SON itself. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Your major wouldn't have said "nursing" if you weren't in the program. When I applied to the school freshmen year out of high school they put my major as "undeclared with an interest in nursing". So the fact that you have nursing for sure you're in !! Im not a transfer so if I call admissions i dont know what to say..like I'm already at the school :/
It seems that all the current CSULA students are in the same boat. I bet y'all will have to wait until the actual SON sends out the emails. Im sure the University sends out the acceptance emails to transfer students because we have to pay the deposit by May 2nd.

That makes sense! Thank you :) I'm sure the SON has to send the letters soon!

If this is the email that we're supposed to get then the paranoia is really getting to us! But if we got that email, it's a VERY VERY good sign right? I don't think they handle the "NursingBS" major lightly.
