CSULA Fall 2016 Nursing (BSN)

I realize it may be early, but I wanted to start a thread for the CSULA Fall 2016 nursing program hopefuls. I'm sure we will all have a lot of questions, especially because of the upcoming semester conversion. I have plenty of questions about application deadlines, volunteer hours, TEAS, etc. It will be nice to have a community where we can ask each other questions and offer advice. Eventually we can share stats, and we may even end up in the same cohort!

She kept repeating how they will be sent by the end of the month and she's trying to get them done this week (I guess that wasn't the case). I'm expecting next week for sure. After that is already pushing it.

We still have Friday to look forward to and if not, I'm positive it's next week! It can't just be tooooooo late..

Our theory (me and chmariee) is that they might prefer to send the emails on Friday afternoon so that they don't immediately get bombarded with questions, and they have the weekend to prepare themselves for the onslaught Haha í ½í¸‚

I think we'll get them late Sunday or Monday the latest. They'll have today and Saturday to finalize everything. Just a theory though.

I doubt Sunday or anytime over the weekend..would the nursing office even be open?! I think it'll be Tuesday-Wednesday next week. If I dont hear anything by Thursday I'm going to Monica's office :)

True but I'm sure they'll make exceptions especially for an important event like this.

As what a previous poster said about the admissions already having the list, I just don't understand what's taking so long for them to email us if we're accepted or not? What would they still be doing to our application forms for them to not be emailing us?

YES! What's taking so long! I don't understand! I'm trying to be a little more patient. Maybe it would help if they were more communicative with us :)

So I got my acceptance email today. I am looking forward to meeting everyone else that will be attending the nursing program in August.
