I realize it may be early, but I wanted to start a thread for the CSULA Fall 2016 nursing program hopefuls. I'm sure we will all have a lot of questions, especially because of the upcoming semester conversion. I have plenty of questions about application deadlines, volunteer hours, TEAS, etc. It will be nice to have a community where we can ask each other questions and offer advice. Eventually we can share stats, and we may even end up in the same cohort!
Hey everyone, I'm a recent graduate from CSULA BSN in 2015. I just want to stay that if you plan on working locally in SoCal area, you guys will have quite a reputation with this title. A lot of graduates in the nursing field have come from CSULA, so networking will be so much easier than other universities of similar BSN calibre.
You guys will make amazing friends and experiences. As you embark through nursing school, keep in mind that it will be stressful, times will get rough but you guys were selected for a reason. Brave through the storm know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I wish you all the best of luck with everything.

thanks so much for this!! really boosted my moral about nursing :) how was the living situation? if accepted, I'm wary of where to look for housing and things like that. I'm hoping LA is cheaper than SF when it comes to rent í ½í¸…

Omg same! I live in LA county already and it's totally..'trainable' if that's even a word but I am 90% sure that I will move closer. Considering that parking in CSULA is bad, I would like to live at least walking distance. Ahhh it's almost April, I'm getting more anxious.
So I staked previous threads, and.....In 2014 they found out March 29!!!
and in 2015 they found out April 3!!!!
so hopefully that means we will be soon :)
My anxiety is really bad too. I'm currently in the computer lab next to the building where the SON department is and I feel the need to go up there and ask for updates of my application. I'm so anxious.
