CSULA Fall 2016 Nursing (BSN)

I realize it may be early, but I wanted to start a thread for the CSULA Fall 2016 nursing program hopefuls. I'm sure we will all have a lot of questions, especially because of the upcoming semester conversion. I have plenty of questions about application deadlines, volunteer hours, TEAS, etc. It will be nice to have a community where we can ask each other questions and offer advice. Eventually we can share stats, and we may even end up in the same cohort!

update: I just called SON last minute right now LOL they said as long as we have everything turned in on time, our application's good.

I hope everyone is doing great during the wait! I took liberty of checking around which weeks the previous applicants received their acceptance letters and this is what I got:

Fall 2014 cohorts: the week of March 25, 2014.

Fall 2015 cohorts: the week of April 3, 2015.

So, we should be getting our letters around the beginning of the spring quarter. Good luck everyone!

Here are my stats:

Prereqs (3.9): 10 points

Cum GPA (4.0): 5 points

Reading TEAS V (97%): 5 points

English TEAS V (99%): 5 points

Experience (100 hours): not sure if it's 1 or 2 points, so I'll just write 1 point.

Total: 26 points.

Has anyone submitted their official transcripts to CSULA admissions department? Or do we have to wait for them to ask us to send them? (I am not talking about SON, I'm talking about the university itself.)

Yes, I already submitted my official transcript to CSULA. They sent me an email stating that I was entering an impacted major, and I would be notified of admission in April. I guess they let us know around the same time as the SON.

My application still says incomplete on the CSULA portal. It doesn't show whether or not they've received my transcript. It also shows my major as health sciences. Anyone else?
