CSULA Fall 2016 Nursing (BSN)

I realize it may be early, but I wanted to start a thread for the CSULA Fall 2016 nursing program hopefuls. I'm sure we will all have a lot of questions, especially because of the upcoming semester conversion. I have plenty of questions about application deadlines, volunteer hours, TEAS, etc. It will be nice to have a community where we can ask each other questions and offer advice. Eventually we can share stats, and we may even end up in the same cohort!

Pre-req gpa (3.68): 8 pts

Cum gpa (3.65): 4 pts

TEAS (Reading 97): 5 pts

TEAS (English 98): 5 pts

Volunteer Work (258 hrs): 2 pts

TOTAL: 24 pts

Is CSULA everyone's first choice?

CSULA is my first choice, CSULB is second, and MSMU is my last

My points for CSULA are 23. Unfortunately I did better on my second TEAS attempt but did not take it before the CSULA nursing deadline :( I think I will probably be waitlisted if anything.

My points for CSULA are 23. Unfortunately I did better on my second TEAS attempt but did not take it before the CSULA nursing deadline :( I think I will probably be waitlisted if anything.

The same happen to me :( I took the TEAS after CSULA nursing deadline because CSULB is my first choice, but I think my chances at CSULb aren't so good.

The wait is going to drive me crazy! Our thread is really slow this year. We don't have a lot of people's stats. I wonder if they're just lurking around lol
