I posted this in the California forum, but I think it got lost so I'm posting it here!
Who here is applying for the CSULA nursing program for Fall 2014? What are your stats? Have you taken the TEAS exam yet? I'm excited!
I have not taken the TEAS yet, but have my date scheduled for Oct. 25th.
So you have a green circle for now? I wonder how long it will take to actually get accepted with the green check mark. Quite fustrating.
Yeah but I had a check mark for a while. I called admissions and they said not to go by that because it lies lol we won't find out if we are accepted in the program or the school until later this year.
Did you guys get like a receipt or some kind of confirmation for turning application in because what if the application gets lost?!
I DID NOT GET ANYTHING ! Jenn, You got a receipt after turning in your Nursing App??? I have not received any confirmation. I handed it in, so I know it got there... but still..

lol don't freak out. i did NOT receive a receipt when I turned in my nursing app, only when I went to CSULA admissions and turned in my "golden four" update. in fact, on the due date, when i went to turn in my volunteer paper, it looked like the lady threw it on the floor lol
I am taking lifespan psychology and nutrition and applying EVERYWHERE as app periods open up![/quote']Awesome.... I really enjoyed those classes. I only applied to csula because I'm taking micro in the spring and most places want you pre reqs done already. I will be applying to pretty much every school I can in the fall haha(if I don't get into csula)
I already quit the ambulance because I have a TON of patient contact hours. Plus, I get paid more as a Science Tutor at Mission College.
I'm taking Lifespan Psych. and Micro in the spring. I'll be taking Eng 102 in the summer, so I can get that grad requirement over with.
I really thought I got outta that by taking Philosophy 6, but apparently there is no escaping it at CSULA :/
My friend at CSUN says they can take Speech 102 instead, I wonder if that is true for CSULA? I hate English class...

I should have done that because I took logic and it kicked my booty. I walked out with an 89.2% but a B on my transcript... I took it online tho
No. I go to LA Mission. But I was reading the graduation requirements for CSULA. It stipulates that all Bachelor Degrees from the school require that the student take Eng 102 to complete.
Do you mean the Philosophy (Logic in Practice), Or English? It was a super easy A at Mission College. The professor is an old hippie guy that hates the system...lol
I took it because I didn't want to take Eng 102, and it filled the prereq for the nursing program.
