Csula Fall 2014 applicants..

I am getting ready to apply to the

Accelerated Baccalaureate in Science Option in Nursing for Entry into Master's in Nursing (ABSN/EMSN)Program Summer 2014

I have not taken my TEAS yet (Jan 10 @ Goldenwest), but I have a 4.0 in my science pre-reqs, and Nutrition will be in progress at Cypress College when I apply. My overall GPA is just under a 3.7 I believe, but I hope that is decent!

I also have 150 hours of volunteering at Loma Linda, and I am a CNA, but I am not using it yet.

I just applied for the FALL '14 BSN Basic program.

I have a 27/31 in the point scale.

4.0 GPA - Sciences

4.0 GPA - Overall

TEAS OVERALL - 91.3% (99th percentile)

TEAS READING - 99th Percentile

TEAS ENGLISH - 99th Percentile

1800 hours as an EMT

All my BLS Certifications

I hope you're right. Mainly because I can't afford any other programs....lol

Not to mention CSULA is 10 minutes from my house...

No worries... lol

We'll probably be classmates... I'll be the guy with the all the shark, squid, and octopus tattoos. I'll be riding my motorcycle in everyday (cause I hear parking is a *****!!)

Has anyone checked their admissions status for the school itself? Has yours changed?? Mine changed to admitted about 3 weeks after I submitted my app but now it just says complete... Looking at old threads I hear once it changes around April then most likely you've been admitted to the program but I'm not sure about how much of that is true lol

Mine changed to the green check mark (admitted) a while ago. But that has nothing to do with the nursing program. That just means you've been admitted to CSULA.

I was going over the Supplemental App checklist. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN, EXACTLY ?

It says:

" ___ I have included a copy of the TEAS result to the School of Nursing by December 30, 2013."

I purchased the results and had them sent to CSULA in the beginning of December. Is that what they mean? Or was I suppose to bring a separate copy of the results to the SON in December?

I included a copy in the Application packet, but that was delivered today Jan 2nd. What did you all do about that part? I hope I'm ok.... FML
