CSUF ABSN Fall 2021

Hi all! 
I just wanted to create this forum for students who are applying to CSUF Fall 2021 for the ABSN program in case we had questions for each other, wanted to share thoughts, stats and to support each other through this journey.

Interviews are sometime in March, not sure about anything more specific. I wanna say the info session said the class size is 40 ish. They use a holistic admissions process, not points anymore. Waiting for that interview invitation or rejection still. Not sure how long they will take to complete cumulative GPAs for those still in the running.

I just checked my to do list and they are missing one of my official transcripts. They’re giving me until March 15 to submit, does anyone know if that will affect my application and whether I move forward or not ?

My friend was also missing a transcript, but that was because he changed his name a few years ago and his transcript was under his old name. He was able to work out the issue with admissions & his application is still valid!

Thank you so much! I am waiting as well for that interview invitation or rejection. I am an alumni at Csuf. I seen that they included my external transcripts( my nursing pre reqs) in my TDA. I’m not sure if they are using that GPA. It’s a cumulative( it includes Csuf+community college grades) GPA. If you go under TDA. It should appear.

Being that both names are associated with the same social security number, this is likely acceptable. Admissions "lost" my transcript once because of my legal name change. What I sent didn't match automatically. If I get in, I have to file paperwork to have my record updated (I'm alumni) and the other name listed under "other names" ?

I hope it doesn’t affect my application ? I sent it over via mail but I guess they never received it so I sent it via pdf this time. I guess I’ll have to call admissions tomorrow to find out.

does anyone else in their portal see that transcripts are still missing? They obviously have it because I emailed them awhile back, but just curious why that hasn't updated. Thanks!

Hello, same thing occurred for me for one of my schools. I confirmed a while back the transcripts they received and that school was confirmed already. I emailed admissions today to ask what that is about and what I should do.

Hello, Did you ever end up calling admissions? I'm in the same boat as you. I sent my original transcript via mail and I just sent them again electronically. I'll be calling as soon as they get processed,

Hey, I'm in the same boat as you. I just put in the request to send them again electronically with one of my schools. Please let us know what they respond to the email! Hopefully, it's just something minor and that they did not "lose" the transcripts some how.

Hello! I just checked my student portal and it also said I need to send in my official transcripts even though I confirmed it with them a while back.. I am emailing them again today to see what's up.
