CSUF ABSN Fall 2021

Hi all! 
I just wanted to create this forum for students who are applying to CSUF Fall 2021 for the ABSN program in case we had questions for each other, wanted to share thoughts, stats and to support each other through this journey.

I had emailed them letting them know that I had sent all of my transcripts to Csuf and that they were accounted for on my TDA. 

So are you going to send them another transcript or just wait for the system error to be fixed? I don't want to pay more money to send them something that's already in my tda LOL

I have the same issue where I sent the official transcripts earlier in the application period but under my "To Do list", it says I need to send my official transcript again. I emailed CSUF Admissions but haven't received a response yet.

I'm debating whether to just send another transcript since March 15 isn't so far away but also I have email receipts that CSUF Admissions received the official transcripts in January. Also, transcripts are not cheap so I would prefer to avoid having to pay twice for the same transcript to be sent  ?

How long did it take to receive a response from admissions? I emailed them on Wednesday with the same inquiry and have yet to receive an email back.

Same here, sent them an email on Wednesday and nothing as of now.

Anyone else receive an email about them still reviewing every applicant ? Looks like interviews will be helps March 29-April 9

Yep, I was glad to see them check-in with us. Now that there's a date range for interviews I'm not worried about overlap with another university app.

Do non-prior CSUF students have access to the TDA(Titan Degree Audit)? I tried running mine but nothing appeared.

Hello all, I just got back from the office of admissions. In my case, I need to send them a new set of transcripts because of classes that I have taken in the Winter. When I last sent transcripts in January, they didn’t include my Winter grades for some reason. So, I have to send transcripts again with my Winter grades. I’m guessing some of us have taken Winter classes, so best to send your transcripts ASAP.

Hello, when did you send the email inquiry & how long did it take from them to respond if I may ask? I have yet to receive any response and March 15 is quickly approaching

Hello, I sent the email last Thursday 03-04-2021 and got the reply today 03-08-2021. I would suggest to send transcripts ASAP, especially if your school sends them via mail. I did email them again asking about how the delay would affect the March 15th deadline we have for transcripts, but I guess they will reply towards the end of the week.

To be clear, if you're waiting to see what the SON dept says, I recommend just sending the transcripts again. It's better to spend the $15-25 to resend them at emergency speed than to wait on their limited office staff and end up being booted from the running. There's typically a processing delay at Ad&Rec when transcripts come in. So if you're unsure, just send them and follow-up in 3-4 days to confirm receipt.

Also, years ago when I initially applied to CSUF for my bachelor's, mail delivery was notoriously bad so I hand-delivered my transcripts. The eTranscripts system is far more organized but we all know Murphy's Law. Heck, the online letter of recommendation system at Concordia Irvine lost one of my letters! I was pissed but they found it a week later. Good luck everyone!
