Hello everyone, 

Application period is officially open so I wanted to start a thread and see how everyone's feeling!

I have a 98.7 TEAS score, 4.0 GPA, 110 hours of health care experience, & 290 hours of community service ? do not have local/language/vet points though. 

OMG your stats are soooo gooodd!! I’m sorry you didn’t get in, but you will definitely get in somewhere!! Stay positive, and I wish you the best of luck!!

That is insane. Sorry to hear about the rejection. I know that you will get in nursing school for sure 100%.

I didn't get admitted either ?

Oh no, I’m sorry! I hope everyone applied to multiple schools. I really hate how difficult it is to get into nursing programs.. ?

 

Darna, did you meet all the minimum requirements? I’m wondering if they are sending out all notifications or maybe to the people who may have not met the minimum requirements or may have not completed all pre-reqs.

I’m kinda confused on why I got rejected because I saw in the last forum there were some people with lower stats than mine that got in ??‍♀️ I even met with one of the counselors and she told me I had a good chance too ?

Were you local or anything? Your stats were beyond great…. I saw that you getting an interview for Long Beach though!

Hmm. I did read from previous forums as well that students with lower stats got in. I’m thinking they may have had more applications than they expected because of covid. I read a forum somewhere that the nursing school applications have doubled since covid. So maybe it’s just reallly reallly tough to get in this time around. Most likely I won’t get in either, my stats are pretty low compared to yours.

You can definitely still do this, Grace! Who knows, maybe its about the essay too.

Not a local! But I did see some people who weren’t local able to get in the last time, so it’s really a mystery. 
 

they didn’t even look at my essays apparently, just looked at the stats only ?
