  1. https://www.facebook.com/groups/420676816257498/?ref=share sorry guys, I accidentally provided the wrong link to a business page I made on accident. Use this link instead if you are interested
  2. I made a facebook page for Spring cohort if you guys want to follow. We can use the page to ask more questions or share information.
  3. Hey guys! So I got accepted! I’ll share my stats for students and future students to compare. I was on the lower range with my stats TEAS 80.7% GPA 3.8 Local student - CCC transfer 10 years of medical related experience PLUS all my reference letters expanded on my multicultural experience I am accepting my spot - acceptance deadline is 11/2/21
  4. Uh oh! Okay so they may be sending out rejections still. I’ll update if I hear anything
  5. Anyone here anything from the school? Getting so nervous the closer we get to November.
  6. Yeah, that’s the way she explained it in the information session. Total up the points, top 1/3 get statements read and they accept applicants after reading the statements. So the statements strongly Influence their decision.
  7. I think concord campus only accepts 46-47? I could be wrong, but I remember her saying a really low number of seats. She said the Hayward campus accepts more students than Concord campus.
  8. When I met with one of the counselors, she stated that they now heavily consider multicultural health related experience. So having healthcare experience is great, but you can get more points based off the type of experience you have. She said something along the lines of “the experience section is looked at in three layers/levels”. Also, they said once they calculate points. Then the top 1/3 get their personal statements looked at. So if you don’t make top 1/3, then your personal statement will not be read.
  9. Fingers crossed! Thank you for sharing, I’ll definitely be updating OK the forum once I hear from them.
  10. Hmm. I did read from previous forums as well that students with lower stats got in. I’m thinking they may have had more applications than they expected because of covid. I read a forum somewhere that the nursing school applications have doubled since covid. So maybe it’s just reallly reallly tough to get in this time around. Most likely I won’t get in either, my stats are pretty low compared to yours.
  11. Oh no, I’m sorry! I hope everyone applied to multiple schools. I really hate how difficult it is to get into nursing programs.. ? Darna, did you meet all the minimum requirements? I’m wondering if they are sending out all notifications or maybe to the people who may have not met the minimum requirements or may have not completed all pre-reqs.
  12. Thank you for sharing ?? I hope you get into another school you may have applied to?
  13. Oh no! They are sending out notifications ? thanks for letting us know. Did they say why they rejected ? do you mind sharing your stats ? TEAS score ? I am so nervous to hear from this particular school because I live so close to it and really wanting in.
  14. Sorry, I meant my official transcripts that were sent to NursingCAS. I had an issue with mine taking 3 weeks to be delivered (nightmare) and notified the ladies who host the information sessions. They confirmed that they were able to see my official transcripts on NursingCAS. As for the school itself, my school confirmed that my PDF transcripts were received and downloaded. That’s the best answer I got.
