Yeah, it did! I was still accepted into the school but for my alternative program. I wasn't able to find where it stated that that's why I wanted to see if someone did but I finally did just now! LOL.

Hi everyone! I was just wondering, for those who got rejected to the nursing program, were you still able to get admitted to East Bay? By that I mean, if you got to your portal does it say you still got admitted into the school? If anyone can answer, I would really appreciate it thanks.

Based on my understanding, it honestly depends. For my situation, they did not even bother looking at my personal statements because my score was low.

Maybe they aren't just looking at scores but you're overall potential as a student and a nurse in the future. I wish I had gotten in but I know God has better plans for me. And, I hope you get in! Yes, that is what I am wondering as well. California has just been so competitive. I am really praying that everyone else gets in :).

Hi, Update on my application. I wasn't able to update last week cause of my busy schedule and also being sad about the email I received. However, I did receive an update from them around 11ish in the morning last Monday. I got a rejection letter and it simply states that my scores and overall stats weren't high enough (excluding the personal statements). Here are my stats if you guys are wondering or curious : TEAS: 91.3% Pre-req : 3.9 GPA 4 sciences: 3.8 GPA Based on the information stated on their website (if you're in the contra costa district/county you're a "local"): I live in Brentwood which is 20-30 mins away from Concord. I also had previous experiences as a care provider with more than 450hrs. I hope that helps! I felt discouraged at first when finding out this news but I was hoping that this may help someone in the near future. It took me a week to come to a realization that things happen for a reason and I'm praying those who have not gotten any emails yet to get good news soon!!

Hi everyone, not sure if anyone or know anyone else who had the same issue as me but basically the coordinator for the nursing school at SJ has asked me for a CURRENT U.S passport, US birth certificate, or permanent card. My interpretation during the application process was that they needed it as proof that you are a U.S citizen (so I didn't think that my U.S passport being expired mattered & I wasn't born in the U.S so birth certificate was a no) but it does matter. And basically, I have an appointment for my U.S passport to be renewed on Monday but that's 2 days before the application deadline. And she basically said I have till early November to submit the document to HER. To be honest, I don't even have any specific questions to ask but I guess I just need some advice. Anything will help thank you. It just breaks my heart knowing that they might not even review my application because of this. ?

Hi guys, I was looking over the nursing cas application for CSUEB and there was a question asking if I sent my official TEAS Report from ATI TEAS to "Cal State East Bay Nursing" and I was wondering if this is different from sending my actual TEAS Report to the school itself? In other words, I sent my official TEAS transcript to "cal state east bay" but I wasn't sure if I needed to specifically sent it through "cal state east bay nursing" as it was stated on the Nursing Cas. If anyone can clarify for me that would be great! (I've been trying to reach out to CSUEB but they take forever to reply...

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any success with receiving a fee waiver for the nursing application? I applied a few days ago & I’m done with my application but it says I can’t submit it yet until I received an email regarding the fee waiver..I don't know if it really takes 4 weeks to get it approve or even denied.
