CSU San Marcos ABSN Fall 2017

Hey guys!

I just wanted to start a thread for the Fall 2017 ABSN at CSUSM at the Temecula campus so we could all go through this process together and get to know each other! I know it's still early since the deadline isn't until March but I have submitted my application recently and I'm impatient.

So if anyone else has applied or is planning on applying, let's get a conversation going!

Hi guys, I have a question. I just took my teas test and I am confused about where to send my transcript. When I tried to order it, there were two options to send to: Cal State San Marcos and Cal State San Marcos TEAS. Which one did you guys pick? Or did it not matter? Thanks for your reply.

Also congrats Ellme, that's a very competitive score!

I don't think it really matters. I don't think you need to pay to send your scores. On the application it has you attach your scores, and I just attached the score report that was sent to me there. I hope that helps!

You attach the test score to your application. I went to the ATI website printed out my score scanned it and attached it to the part of the application that asked for it

Thank you. I emailed extended learning and all they requested was a pdf file of my transcript emailed to them.

I think that is a competitive evaluation! The past cohorts have been lower 30's. I'm still waiting for my evaluation. Hopefully it'll come soon, but my application wasn't completed 'til Feb. 24th.

Thanks! That's strange because I did my application in March, but my evaluation came before yours. Maybe some counselors are quicker than others.

Just got my evaluation today, 44 points! They said give it 4-6 weeks from when you submitted your last document. They also told me it's priority registration so they were handling other things for other majors.

If you are worried email them, they have been very prompt with replying to me.
