Hey all, how funny I came on allnurses to look for advice on tips for second semester and came across this. I currently am a 2nd semester student at CSULB and know its rough but just be patient during this nerve wracking process. For my cohort we actually found out we got an interview on march 1st when our interviews were on the 8th. So we only knew a week before the interviews. You've already done all you can up till this point, just breath and wishing you the best of good luck! =) If you have any other questions I can try to help.

Just got my evaluation today, 44 points! They said give it 4-6 weeks from when you submitted your last document. They also told me it's priority registration so they were handling other things for other majors. If you are worried email them, they have been very prompt with replying to me. Best of luck all!

I could be wrong. But I would think you would have to be accepted by both. Did that happen to you? If so I would call admissions.

Ellen how did you receive yours? In the mail or through email? I submitted mine late Jan. as well. I also checked my portal and I have nothing on my to do list. I'm pretty sure I submitted everything.

I heard mixed answers, some cohorts found out a month after, 2 weeks, and a cohort even found out a couple days after. I think it just really matters how they are handling it now, whether it is pass or fail and they either give you the 2 points or not, or if they really are now evaluating us incrementally on a 2 point system and re-evaluating the scores. I felt really good about the communication exercise. Just in case anyone was wondering. I emailed CSUSM Extended Learning because I submitted my application back in late Jan. This is what they said about evaluation worksheets. "The evaluation process starts on that 2/1/17 and it may take 6-8 weeks for the evaluation process to be completed when all documentation is submitted. You will be sent via email your evaluation worksheet that includes your points for this program."
