CSN Spring 2015

Is anyone applying for Spring 2015 Nursing Program 2015? I applied for Fall 2014 with 37 points and will be applying for Spring 2015 with 38 points. Does anyone have pointers for the application process? Has anyone gone to the limited entry workshop? I have been discouraged, and need some uplifting information.

Christina from your experience, besides student loans, is there any opportunities for scholarships or is that few and far between?

They instructors periodically send out emails regarding an opportunity here and there but yes, it's few and far between.

The reentry office typically has grants and funds available for nursing students only. Go to their office across from financial aid for more info.

I've been watching this site for the last year. I finally signed up.

I am an Alternate with only 23 points (Full time track). I'm currently taking my last two classes; Bio 224 and Bio 251.

Hello, I was wondering if you received a letter or a call for alternate. I applied with 26 pts and have all my pre and co reqs but didn't get an alternate spot. I substituted Math 100 for 120 because i'm in the process of taking 120. Maybe something was wrong with my packet. :( I know once I have 120 it will give me the 10 points I need but I just tried to apply without it. I knew it was a long shot but thought I would just try.

You had 26 without math 120? Make an appt and see. She's very nice.

No problems I tried posting the initials of her name but apparently I can't do that either :)

I was called on my way to school on Wednesday, around 1pm. I would definitely go in to the office and see what was wrong with your packet.

I know I'm only an alternate, but they told me to put one together anyways, because you never know. I never expected to get a call, so I'm already in a better position that I ever thought I'd be in.
