CSN Spring 2015

Published

Is anyone applying for Spring 2015 Nursing Program 2015? I applied for Fall 2014 with 37 points and will be applying for Spring 2015 with 38 points. Does anyone have pointers for the application process? Has anyone gone to the limited entry workshop? I have been discouraged, and need some uplifting information.

Moved to the Nevada Nursing forum for more of a response.

I am applying for Spring 2015 with somewhere between 30-32 points depending on this semesters GPA (fingers crosses). I haven't taken Political Science or Micro yet, so hopefully I make the cut off. I am going to both the workshop and orientation this month. You were unable to get into fall 2014 with 37 points?!

Hi I'm applying to the Spring 15 .. n I will b going to the workshop coming up this Tues (the 13:th) I'm appealing my anatomy class that I took in CA if they approve it as a transfer n if the summer goes as scheduled with my History 102 I would end up with 38-39 points..

I had followed the Fall 14 thread n seen your story.. I know that must've stung n disappointed you but don't get discouraged!! :)

No. I was not able to get in because of the 3 month (30 day) rule for the TEAS. I am going to speak with the nursing director next week. Just to clarify some of the information. I think with anything over 30 pts. You'll be fine.

I will be applying for Spring '15 as well. I'm attending the 5/29 application workshop. I will probably be chosen as alternate since I haven't taken BIOL 224 (taking it this fall) and pray I still get into the program lol. I should have around 28 points.

Has anyone ever done a credit evaluation request (not waiver) for courses out of state at CSN? and if so, how long did it take for them to process/inform you on the process?

I submitted 2 out-of-state transcripts for evaluation in April of last year. They said 8 weeks for the evaluation to be completed, but I think it was sometime in July before I saw it posted to my account.

I did last year and they did it within a month. I did it again and submitted the form beginning of April and still haven't heard anything.

ok..thank you...hope they get it done before the deadline

They probably will have it done. When did you submit it for eval?
