  1. Thanks for the feedback! FNP Clinical's were in VA? They didn't have anything closer to you? I'm in PA and I thought they let you do Clinical's in the state you reside in.
  2. I wanted to reach out and see how many others are applying to this program?
  3. Hello everyone! Looks like I will be joining you for Fall 2015. My question is will we really be wearing polo tops instead of scrub tops? Also how do they fit? I was unable to try them on. I was not at the orientation since I was a late admin (move from west coast a month ago). Any information would be helpful. Thanks
  4. CONGRATS to everyone who was accepted! I wanted to start this post for everyone to get to know one another before we start. I unfortunately do not have Facebook, so I am unable to meet and greet there. A little about myself... I just relocated from the west coast (Las Vegas to be exact) a month and a half ago with my boyfriend for his medical residency. I was in nursing school (College of Southern Nevada) out there and finished my first semester. CCP was unable to take my previous RN credits due lack of clinical hours earned (CCP requires more hours then my last school), so I will be starting my first semester again. Just a bit of encouragement... it really is not as bad as you think it is as long as you stay FOCUSED, ORGANIZED, and ON TOP of all your studying and homework/care plans/papers/submissions. I am so excited to meet everyone and get started!! I also had a question about the uniform. From my understanding we are wearing polo shirts instead of a scrub top...? Does anyone know if this is because we are starting with a psych rotation? Thanks.
  5. Did you pick for the flyers they had outside on the table during orientation? It is for a place called "AnyLabTest". They offer cheap physicals as well as really cheap titers. Plus, they had included a $10 off card. I plan on getting my varicella titer done because I know I had the "chicken pox" when I was young and I am not really interested in spending $150 a shot. Give them a call.
  6. I was just looking at mine too and wondering the same thing. Maybe that was from prior semesters when the Teas could have been taken after admissions into the program? I pray I do not have to take it again.
  7. No. For full time.
  8. My friend was called for as an alternative... I think she applied with 34 points. Which is weird because I applied with less points than her and got offered a spot for full-time
  9. I got the call around noon today. turned in my app with 31 points!!
  10. I am... who did you take for 223 and who are you going to take for 224?
  11. Has anyone taken BIO 223 & 224 at NSC over the summer?
  12. ---------------------. It was a online course for the full semester. There were only 2 exams and a final that had to be taken at the testing center. She will post a study guide a week prior to all the exams. This class was not my first online math class, so I was confident with the self-study.
  13. Math 120 is really a breeze. I took it online and it really seemed to work for me. I hope that prep class helps!
  14. This will be my first time applying. I took the TEAs early enough, so in case I didn't pass my first go around the 3 month "in between period" would leave me with 1 more chance to take it before the deadline. I was very lucky to have passed the first time, more then half of the people who were in my exam class didn't pass. I might retest for a higher score, not sure yet.
  15. My collective score was 70%. Have you taken it yet?
