CRNE 7th october

Published

Hello,

I'm new to this site but am finding it really useful! I'm canadian but did my nursing degree in the UK, and I currently practicing in England. I'm due to sit the CRNE on the 7th October and have read some scary posts on its level of difficulty. I have the study guides and will continue to study for the next 8 weeks until I fly over to toronto to sit it. I'm extremely nervous....anybody got any further pointers for me????

I can't wait for my family to start our life in Canada pending me passing this exam (so no pressure Eh!)......and a new job in toronto would be great!!!!!

Good luck to all of those that are sitting it the same day as me!:nurse:

In Manitoba, we are still waiting...:zzzzz

Job well done RNGrad2006!!!:clpty:

Today is november 2. I did some reading on the October CRNE last year and they started receiving results on November 9 in Saskatchewan. People from other provinces received their results at a later date. A few more days and everything will be alright! I hope we all receive a positive result. Goodluck to all of us...

thats great news!!!

Hi everyone,

Just want to give you an update......just called CNO and they have not received the results yet. So for everyone waiting in Ontario.....I'm just if we're going to get the result this week. Probably next week for sure. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....this wait is killing me...........................

Don't let the wait kill you....all good things come to those who wait ...look at it that way! :jester:

Gee, and to know that the Canadian Nurses Association is in Ottawa and not far from where I work :(. I'll drop by and ask...:D JUST JOKING, lol.

Isn't that a paradox: Ontario writers are among the last to receive their results, and those in Ottawa receive their letters one or two days after the people in Toronto. I guess our results have a high fitness level: they keep going back and forth. :)

DEMS, your result will be qualified as "Marathon runner":redbeathe.

But isn't it freaking annoying to know that all of our results are just a few blocks away. Even if it's crazy, I can't help but musing with the idea of going there and ask:cool:. Don't worry, I won't do it :(

Petgroomer I do find it a little strange that the results are dished out at different time to different provinces....i mean we all sat the same exam....at the same time.....so how fair is letting the results be staggered....not fair I would say...especially for those whose jobs depend on it! I also think in this days and age you should of been able to put in your exam ID online and received your results....I mean it would of meant it setting up a password...but make things earsier all around i'm sure!

god my letter will be a world class athlete when it gets here!

DEMS I guess you're still waiting then? Good suggestion to check results online - but where would we all be with out the toing and froing on the forums.

Well done RNGrad!!

Oh yes...still Waiting...dont think i'll get them in the near furture as noone in ontario has yet...and knowing my luck the royal mail withh strike again soon!!!! I just keep thinking ...no rush...what will be will be!!!

and doesn't everyone think that the online system would be better??? I mean when i was at university that was how we got our results!!!!

I feel bad for those of you still waiting. Takes me back since I was educated in the US and took NCLEX originally in 2006 that I had 2 days of waiting and drove everyone and myself crazy but it was only 2 days and since the test was a computer test you could get your results in 2 days via the computer. This time I just put it out of my mind as otherwise I would have had no rest. I thought I failed this time again for sure. Felt that way each time. 4 exams later I am getting smarter (took LPN in US and Canada; and now took the RN exam in US and Canada). It is getting old and so glad to have it behind me...FINALLY!!!!
