Anybody who will be taking the CRNE on October 5, 2011, please post your comments and suggestions here like making a study group, sharing notes, meeting at the library or anything that will help the examinees pass the examination. Thanks!
I PAAASSSSEEEDDDD.....WOOOOHOOOOOO...I'm from the durham area, my second attempt im sooo happy:yeah::smiley_aa:anpom:
I feel so much for those who haven't, be sad and cry if you must but pick yourself up and lets start again. The last time I didn't study properly, I'm actually horrible at studying. So this time I did the whole CRNE prep guide questions and the Mosby prep guide. I think that did the trick practice practice PRACTICE!!!!!!!!!. Also, I went to a prep course it was one of the cheaper ones and trick do the course closest to your exam date, so that the information stays fresh. My course was with Healthcare Professional Training Providers( http://www.hcprofessionals.com/ ) you can check them out it was $650. I wish they were more organized BUT the course was helpful.
Also, check your MC skills and look up strategies you may not have been using online and PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!!!!!!
and I really trusted God with this one
best wishes to everyone who will retake trust me I KNOW! how hard this is I bawled! but you made it this far YOU CAN DO IT~
BAsed from the information you shared, you possess the knowledge about nursing but how about the test taking strategies? maybe you have to change your approach in attacking the questions. Focus on what is being asked, don't detour or take any other considerations. If you feel like taking classess, why not. Review classes build up confidence. as of now free your mind and give sometime for yourself to think that would help you.
PM me if you need some help.
I really need some help!

Thank you all for the supportive environment that you have provided.
I just went to the mailbox and found only flyers. I broke down in tears because I found a big envelope but realized it was for my parents. I will continue to pray hard and be as positive as I can be.
I don't think anyone from Alberta has gotten theirs yet. My friend & I are anxiously awaiting for results. Good luck to all of you. & I am so sorry to hear that some did not make it. My prayers are with you. It's heartbreaking to see how hard some of us work to achieve our nursing dreams only to get a letter back saying the work we put it did not cut it. =(
Please do not give up. I know that if I get back another fail letter I will be heartbroken and let myself cry for as long as I need to then work hard again.
