Hi there! I'm writing the CRNE tomorrow and wanted to start this thread to get some chatter going to support each other. Anyone else writing tomorrow?
I'm nervous....somewhat! It's kind of a strange feeling actually. If I really let myself think about it, it frightens me to death, but then other times I'm completely calm. KWIM?? Anyone else going through these mix of emotions?
Anyway, I have to go get ready since I have to drive an hour and half out of town to write, and we're actually spending the night tonight.
Good luck to you all!
sorry to hear that sesdo ,what is the passing score
the results are not given as a score, only pass or fail. faq: the canadian registered nurse examination (crne)
in my opinion, 59-68% is appallingly low considering that people's lives will be in the hands of someone who only knew 59% of the information. but i'm not on the committee and i don't have a say.
Hi,I did not purchase my Canadian prep guide, 3rd and 4th edition. I just borrowed them from a friend and my cousin. If you have no other options, just buy them, it is worth it. I also borrowed two review books from the library.
I hope this helps.[/quote

Questions regarding work permit and immigration please ask in the International forum, suggest you read the threads already there discussing this. This thread is just on CRNE
I know I'm very anxiously waiting. I've even been dreaming about it for the past couple of nights. One light I dreamed that I failed, then last night I dreamed I passed with a 96%.
I heard somewhere that the results would be sent out by the 11th of July.
I hope that's true and if it is then we should start receiving results next week.

If you have been working as a nurse then I doubt that you will have to go back to school. I believe it is if there has been a break of 5 or more years. That is what I have been told for Nova Scotia so I am sure other provinces will have something similar
