CRNE June 2009

World Canada CRNE

Published

Hi there! I'm writing the CRNE tomorrow and wanted to start this thread to get some chatter going to support each other. Anyone else writing tomorrow?

I'm nervous....somewhat! It's kind of a strange feeling actually. If I really let myself think about it, it frightens me to death, but then other times I'm completely calm. KWIM?? Anyone else going through these mix of emotions?

Anyway, I have to go get ready since I have to drive an hour and half out of town to write, and we're actually spending the night tonight.

Good luck to you all!

lissylala...thanks for the advice. You stated that you took a review course. Is it one that is open to anyone taking the CRNE or was it with your school? if so, is it in the Toronto area? I have been looking into this and there is a course that is offered at George Brown College in Toronto that is a 2 day course. Have you or anyone else heard anything about this course...or any other course for that matter???

Thanks!

I took a review course offered privately meaning in a home setting. The individual has had years of experience teaching the course. Another alternative would be: http://www.torontoschoolofhealth.com/Pages/RN.htm

A number of my colleagues took this course and were successful in June.

I was wondering if you came from the Collaborative Nursing Degree Program? If yes, I have heard from other students that Ryerson offers a mentorship program for individuals who will be retaking the CRNE. If anything, contact the student affairs coordinator.

Hope this helps =)
