World Canada CRNE

Published

Hi there! I'm writing the CRNE tomorrow and wanted to start this thread to get some chatter going to support each other. Anyone else writing tomorrow?

I'm nervous....somewhat! It's kind of a strange feeling actually. If I really let myself think about it, it frightens me to death, but then other times I'm completely calm. KWIM?? Anyone else going through these mix of emotions?

Anyway, I have to go get ready since I have to drive an hour and half out of town to write, and we're actually spending the night tonight.

Good luck to you all!

Do anybody have any news when we should expect the result ? the waiting killed me .
Hi Patriven, CRNE wrote dat after 6 wks. dat means 18 july.

I got my result bad, unforunately, I didn't pass. so sad.

how's everyone else?

I'm sorry to hear that Sesdo. Are you in BC? I'm still waiting for my result :redbeathe

Sesdo, I'm so sorry to hear that. What province do you live in? And did your results come in a normal envelope or a 8 and a half by 11?

I'm so sorry about that; Are u living in B.C. dat means wait is over now; I think temp. licence will cancel if someone fail the exam.Gud luck for those who r waiting.

Hi Sesdo,

Which province do you belong to? I am here in Ontario and we are still waiting for the results.

Thanks for your reply.

Just curious did anyone purchase the Canadian study guide? keep your chin up. If you dont success the first time try again!!!

Hi,

I did not purchase my Canadian prep guide, 3rd and 4th edition. I just borrowed them from a friend and my cousin. If you have no other options, just buy them, it is worth it. I also borrowed two review books from the library.

I hope this helps.

THANKS,

did I mention I've been out of school for for six years. How long have ya been out of school? curious. I think I need to study. What do ya think ?

Sincerely,

sandra

Hi,

I graduated 2005, IEN and a second courser. I did a lot of review especially because I am an IEN and it is different with Canada from the country where I took my Nursing course. Were you assessed already by the province where you intend to work as a nurse? If you have been out of school for 6 years, I think you have to go back to school, as what happened to a friend of mine who graduated 2004. They based the number of years on the time you submitted your documents for the assessment.

thanks

Well that wouldnt make any sense, because I,ve been practicing as an r.n. for six years. Actively working.

So I dont think they are gonna send me back to school that would be ridiculous.!
