Cox College FNP

Published

Hey everyone! I was interested in the FNP program at Cox College in Missouri and I'm a little worried. Not sure what to expect. For my Nursing school my GPA was 3.1, but my prerequisites GPA was 3.71. So they should a great about 3.4 GPA. What can I expect from the school? Any previous or current students shed any light on what they like or dislike about the program? Any information will be appreciated.

I can't tell you much about the FNP because this will be my official first semester although I have taken two master courses with them...I have however completed my asn and bsn through them...when I know more I will share it with you!

Thanks! What was the average GPA? May I ask what GPA you had before getting accepted?

3.7 we have orientation next month...I will see what the avg was!

How long did you wait before you got an answer from them after the deadline? And how was the interview? I get nervous about interviews feeling like I will say something wrong. Was it long? Did they ask lots of questions?

It was a fairly short wait and we were notified quickly! There were a lot of questions and it last about one hour.

What kind of questions did they ask?

I believe the questions are different but your adviser can help you prepare! You will be okay, just be yourself! How did you hear about Cox?

I just looked online. Went through alot of websites and made my list of preferred schools.

Have you been to orientation yet?

Just for anyone who finds this later on, I ended up getting in and start in January. 98% board pass rates and $26,000 approx for the 2 year program, which is online. To me, a very good deal!
