Simmons Direct Entry MSN 2024

Hi, has anyone applied for this program? or has anyone been accepted?

Applied about a week or two ago - excited to hear back! I emailed admissions and they said decisions should come out in mid to late January.

@nursingstudent188 I applied to Simmons, Yale, Johns Hopkins, MGH, Regis, and Vanderbilt. Got accepted to Regis already but waiting to hear back from the rest.

How about you?

I applied to simmons, regis, northeastern, umass and MGH. I already got accepted into northeastern and regis but my top choice is UMASS and still waiting to hear back from them

@nursingstudent188 congrats!! did Regis give you a short deadline to commit? They gave me till December 29th to commit, just seemed abrupt to me.

They all give you one month. I had to pay the deposit for northeastern just in case because I'm still waiting for umass. It's an insane amount of money that I may lose if umass ends up accepting me.

Oh wow, I didn't know that. I was hesitant to pay the deposit for Regis but I think I may just do it. The deposits on top of application fees is definitely not ideal money-wise.

Did anyone apply in January? I am still waiting to receive an admissions decision. I heard that I should expect a decision to be released early this month, but I am wondering if anyone who applied around the same time as me has heard anything yet.

just realized this is an old forum OOPS!

Hey, I also applied in January and heard back from them last month but I'm not entirely sure if their direct entry nursing program is good in terms of their curricula and post-grad job experiences.
