But of those countries the US has implemented travel bans on only two of those countries; South Africa and Botswana. In addition to those two, travel bans have been enacted for eSwatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, and Zimbabwe, even though no cases of Omicron have been detected there.

Sounds reasonable as in some parts of the country the delta variant is ripping though and causing havoc.

A coworker's daughter is requiring all family members that want to visit her and her children to be vaccinated. My coworker is vaccinated but her husband (the daughter's step-father) is not and is not invited.
It is a thing and not an outrageous thing in my opinion. But then again my entire family is vaccinated, as well as my social circle.
I haven't had a party in many years, but if I were still the partying type, I would do vaccinated only invitations but would operate on an honor system.

Definitely not. I'm vaccinated. Most I know are. Some aren't. They are still family and friends. If they have symptoms they know enough to keep their distance. Otherwise, why did I get vaccinated? It is to protect me. I of course do ask all my patients their status as I triage them. I don't ask anyone else their status. If they choose to tell, fine. I tell anyone who asks if I am.

Yes, it will. One uncle and 20ish age cousins that we usually see on Christmas are not vaccinated. I would still see them. But my in their 70's parents with comorbidities should not and will not. And, that is who I'll see on Christmas.

What I've read about it is in the link below. But you can cherry pick one idea and find it outrageous. That's your prerogative but it seems like you're trying too hard. But perhaps you can link me to where he said this which I still don't find outrageous.
I don't think "providing evidence" is necessary as hopefully people would honor a "vaccinated only" party. Knowing the vaccination status of an indoor party would be important to me if I were in another part of the country. Here in Florida where transmission is still less than 2% I might not bother. As it is I am going to a fully vaccinated family gathering Christmas Eve anyway.

I have seen most of their cards. My local contacts were excited to get vaccinated. They displayed their cards.
Yes, sometimes. I went to a local restaurant the other day to pick up my meal and make-up my salad bar course. That restaurant doesn't have any mitigation requirements. I'm certain that I was socializing with unvaccinated people during that visit. Vaccination status is not a requirement at the hockey stadium but masks are. When vaccination rates are relatively low, like they are here, it's difficult to socialize with the general public and avoid unvaccinated neighbors. Our case rates are still high.
My spouse has been boosted, I have not. We have an imbalance in risk factors. My covid risks are relatively low for my age group.

Now, after all that you admit you haven't followed his guidance on getting a booster. But, instead of assessed your own risk and have not decided it was necessary at this time.
