I just want to send a big thank you to all the nurses on the front line working with COVID patients.
My husband of 43 years passed away recently from complications of COVID on 12/16/2020. I could not be with him until the decision was made not to continue treatment. His body just couldn’t fight anymore.
The nurses who took care of him were amazing. They made sure he was well taken care of medically and personal care. I felt that since I couldn’t be with him, he was most definitely in great hands.
The night he passed was tremendously difficult for me and the nurses were very professional and compassionate and I was very grateful.
I no longer can work bedside and I respect the heck out of those who do!!
Thank you!!

I’m so very sorry for your loss.
And thank you for your kind words of praise to the nursing community.
Take care!
