I am currently so over listening to a few people at work complain incessantly about the one extra hour we have to work tonight.

Yes. But it is the longest hour on earth..... Somehow I always manage to work this night but not the short one in the spring. On the up side it is extra pay and I did catch up on all those lovely online competences.

This one hour has caused our computers to go down for two hours and screwed up the charting.. the 0100's won't show in our main charting area but if you view the 0100s in our I&O section, it shows..annoying.

You may want to check your local labour laws, I worked for a hospital that did this for years, many nurses never end up working on the spring forward time change so it was a case being forced to work for free. The nurses complained and as it turned out, it was against labour laws.The hospital administration began paying the extra hour from that point on, otherwise they were at risk of being fined.

Whine about working an extra hour? What about trying to complete 8 hours of night shift work in 7 hours in the spring?
