Hey Everyone!
Just wanted to start this thread for those who are all applying to the Columbia School of Nursing MDE program for 2019 Entry.
I figured we could all share our thoughts/ questions/ concerns here, or just use this to meet some new people ?
My name is Gurdeep, I'm from NY, and I'm a recent Grad from Binghamton University. Looking forward to meeting all of you ?

I had applied to the MDE program and got in. But the letter does not mention anything about the scholarship. Does it mean I did not get it.
Also, there are more than 15 classes in one semester. Do you think it’s doable ?
Thanks!
Yes, it's quite a lot of credits for a semester. That's why it's an accelerated instead of an unaccelerated which might take 2 years instead of 1, like the one at JHU.

They have an in house application that only takes your current MDE coursework into consideration. You can also do a post-masters FNP at another institution in about 12 months if you don't want to do the CU DNP (34 months and 160K) in addition to the MDE.
