Columbia Post-BSN DNP ( June 2021)

Hey guys! Thought I'd start a thread for Columbia DNP hopefuls. I applied for the June 2021 cycle for the AG-ACNP specialty. Would love to hear from others while waiting for decisions!

I emailed admissions last week and was told that applications are still being reviewed and that decisions will be posted “some time in March”.

Try reading this year’s MDE thread.  There’s been an incredible boondoggle on that program and I imagine CUSON remains backlogged from that overload.

Hey hope all is well. I was accepted into the program for May 2020 due to covid I moved to this year. I was accepted into John Hopkins and NYU acute care nurse practitioner DNP. I said no John Hopkins because they moved it to online and it was four years ??. But Columbia offered me more money and is highly reputable. Even when I tell my fellow co-workers who are in school at NYU they are very impressed because they have heard good things. Apparently Columbia focused more on patho them NYU which I think is critical especially if you're in a acnp. Also any school with a highly reputable CRNA program should produce a quality education. I hope you all get in and we can start a group and succeed together!! Let me know if you have any questions etc.

Has anyone heard any updates from admissions regarding when they plan on releasing decisions? This waiting is excruciating! LOL

I haven't yet :(. Seriously, waiting has to be the hardest part of the application process!

I got a reply back about the cohort I will be join gin aka those accepted. He said two weeks so I am assuming that means most likely two weeks for y'all!! so good luck!

Congrats on your admission last year! That's exciting that you're able to join this year's cohort!

Could you clarify what the two weeks is in reference to? What question did you ask that got a response of "two weeks?"

he said that as in sending information to the new class starting this June so I am sure y'all will know if accepted before then

Per admissions today: “We are working on decisions and we hope to have them within a week.”

Did anyone not get this email of decisions will  be within a week?? I feel like they email some people and not others
