Columbia MDE 2022

I know the application hasn't opened yet, but wondering if there was anyone else thinking of applying to Columbia MDE/DNP programs for June 2022 entry?

Hi all! I was curious if anyone has any information on the admissions rate for the MDE/DNP program? I specifically applied to the PMHNP specialty. Also, does anyone know if they conduct interviews prior to admission?

Hi,

I've never heard on Columbia doing interviews for MDE, not in the last few cohorts anyway. I could be wrong, but I have attended every session they offer LOL. There can be interviews once you are accepted, for global initiative sites etc...

Based on previous forums, it looks like some people either never got that email or got it way later for some reason...not entirely sure?

I actually just got mine a couple of days ago. Give it some time! I know they have a lot of applicants.

I haven't received an initial review email yet and I submitted on 09/29/21.

I got my initial review email yesterday! I submitted on 9/29.

Hi everyone!

I reached out to admissions and they said the initial review email is not substantial and it is common if you do not receive it. They told me that my application was processed early on and if everything is complete, they will not reach out to you, which is good.

Just wanted to let y'all know in case you were overthinking why you never received the initial review email like I was LOL.
