I wanted to start a thread for any perspective applicants for Columbia's Anesthesia program for 2020. I submitted my application last week and wanted to hear if anyone was called for interviews yet.
My stats: ADN 3.7 BSN 4.0 CCRN, CMC, CRNI, BLS/ACLS instructor, recently promoted to unit clinician. 2.5 years of Cardiac ICU in a large level 1 teaching hospital. (of note: went to school close to 10 years and have poor grades)
I got one too. Listen, there is always next year. Next year is the last year for the MSN program. Look on the bright side, we have another year to save. Good luck to those who are interview. ?
To those who got interview invites... how many years of critical care experience do you have ?

I have a little over 2 years experience. I’m fairly certain Dr. Massie mentioned at the interviews that they got a good amount of applicants this year, and were only able to interview candidates with 2 or more years of nursing experience. Can anyone else who interviewed confirm this?

mine is at 8am. Would you want to meet up earlier? they said to arrive 45min prior. I will be there at 7
