Columbia CRNA 2020

Hello all,

I wanted to start a thread for any perspective applicants for Columbia's Anesthesia program for 2020. I submitted my application last week and wanted to hear if anyone was called for interviews yet.

My stats: ADN 3.7 BSN 4.0 CCRN, CMC, CRNI, BLS/ACLS instructor, recently promoted to unit clinician. 2.5 years of Cardiac ICU in a large level 1 teaching hospital. (of note: went to school close to 10 years and have poor grades)

I received an invitation last week for the Oct 29th. Gigcarter is having an interview on halloween. so i guess they opened few dates. I was wondering if anyone else from here is going on the 29th so maybe we can make friends and chat.

This gives us hope that they are still calling ppl for interviews. So everyone that hasn't had an interview date including myself should not loose hope. Thanks!

Thanks, when I called, they did say they will still be calling ppl for interviews until the 31. I just assumed that they already selected everyone of interest.

I highly doubt they are still reviewing. I sent an email on what I can improve and I was told that i did not make the cut. I applied end of august. If you haven't gotten any interview email i would just move on and close the chapter. Denial will just waste time.

I am sorry to hear that. Did they specify what ''cut'' wasn't made? I'm sure you can improve and reapply.

I didnt get an interview, almost did but theres was a missing pre-req..... ?‍♂️
