COC Fall 2014 accepted students!

Hi Everyone!

I am starting this thread for anyone who has been accepted into the COC Fall 2014 Program.

My hope is that here, we can discuss everything from orientation to whatever! I have started working on folder 1 and folder 2. Everything in folder 2 must be received by the Nursing Department by 5/29.

Hey guys ! sorry I've been a little busy and don't sign on much, soooo i emailed the school about Kaplan as well and I called Kaplan and they didn't have anything set up for COC so I emailed COC about it but I did not hear back from them, does anyone know what to do with the background check and drug result? I think they get sent to the school directly but I am not too sure If i still have to turn them into COC

I was wondering the same thing the other day so I went ahead and attached the background check and drug screen to the email with everything else just in case. I sent the email yesterday with all the attachments that were due 5/29 (with the exception of Kaplan receipt of course). FEELS SO good to have completed that list. Can't wait until we get our schedules!!!

Received confirmation they received everything. I LOVE how organized the nursing department is!

Nursing Dept said they spoke with Kaplan today. We will be receiving our instructions in the next day or two.

that's great you got everything in so early in time @excited1! I have one last thing to finish up and that's the follow up for the TB test. Good to know we will be hearing from Kaplan soon. I'm super excited for the next steps...!

As soon as the folders of "to do" were on BB, I immediately scheduled everything to be sure i could get appts in time that worked with my work schedule. I was able to get my physical done on the day of orientation. Lol. One less thing to worry about. Good job getting your list done as well.

I am super anxious to get our schedules as well. If i remember correctly from orientation, they said we would receive emails during the last week of this semester, correct? If thats the case, we should hear something the week of 6/2.

Yes, that's what I remember them saying - that we'd receive word at the end of the semester. I'm super excited... Im practically done with the to do list, just need to pick up some papers and turn everything in, which I will probably do either tomorrow or Thursday. I can't wait!!!!

I am so happy I found this thread! I got accepted to the COC for fall 2014 and it is awesome to know some of you from this forum. Hope to see I all soon
