COC Fall 2014 accepted students!

Hi Everyone!

I am starting this thread for anyone who has been accepted into the COC Fall 2014 Program.

My hope is that here, we can discuss everything from orientation to whatever! I have started working on folder 1 and folder 2. Everything in folder 2 must be received by the Nursing Department by 5/29.

Hey guys! Which i had a better chance at meeting you all today, but I came across **** that was cool! haha

I am hoping to do my physical soon, I have appointments for my immunizations next week & got a walk in referral for my physical. I submitted my background check today, lets see when I get it back. Oh and the , I called them because it wouldn't let me select July 1st as an effective date, and they said it's because it has to be within 60 days , so I guess we can't do that til May first because that would be 60 days away.

Thanks for the info @JennyLo12! Is anyone going to another place other than healthworks to do the drug screening?

I am only going to go to US Healthworks. Its $72, but they know exactly which panel to use. Its pricey, but if they will get it right the first time, im okay with that!

healthworks has a pretty quick turnaround. I went in yesterday and they already emailed me the results! I suggest you guys go there if you can, yeah, it's $72 but they also assured me that I wasn't the first COC nursing student to do the drug test, so all 10 will be covered. One less thing to worry about!

Has anyone received an email from Kaplan yet? I was looking at posts from Spring accepted students and it looks like they got them in November (were accepted in October). So, not toooooo alarming but just wanted to see if anyone received an email yet. Since 1st payment is due soon, I wanted all the details from them. I hope everyone has a FANTASTIC day!

Cool! I guess we just wait then. I purchased the today. It made me put a graduation date in so i just put June 30th 2016 since we are done sometime in June. Lol.
