COC Fall 2014 accepted students!

Hi Everyone!

I am starting this thread for anyone who has been accepted into the COC Fall 2014 Program.

My hope is that here, we can discuss everything from orientation to whatever! I have started working on folder 1 and folder 2. Everything in folder 2 must be received by the Nursing Department by 5/29.

Wow this is a great thread! I'm so excited that you made one for accepted students this is a great way to communicate with everyone.! :) can't wait to see you all tomorrow! And thanks excited1 for the update! There was one page I was unable to open or print. Is anyone else have a problem with a certain document not opening? 0.0

I was able to view and print everything okay....which document?

The rn uniform order form which is in folder 2 so I guess I don't need it now but also the new one demographics >.<. it pulls up nothing for those documents>

I was able to pull up both of those documents. Maybe try it tomorrow morning at the college before orientation? You only need the stuff in folder 1 for tomorrow. Would you like for me to email it to you? If so, send me a private message with your email.

BTW should have joined before the orientation to meet you guys, but better later than never. My name is Aygul and I am an international student from Turkmenistan, country in central asia. Congrats to everyone and hopefully we get the same professors. I heard they divide us in teams. So good luck!

Welcome!! And congrats! Get started on folder 2 everyone, 5/29 will be here before you know it. Sitting at the dr now to get my physical and immunizations. Cant wait until we get our schedules!

Hi Guys! I wish I had planned better to meet you all during orientation today. I'm hoping some of you will be there for the Fire Safety class in May so I will get a chance to then. @excited1, I know! They scared me with the background check taking long so that's the first thing I did when I got home. And to answer your question @moon_flower - yes, those nesting dolls! Haha

I am signed up for the fire class on 5/10. Just went to doc today to get physical and titers done. I gave them my TB form and it wasnt until i got home that i realized they forgot to do the first step. Aye yey yey. Waiting for them to call back to schedule a quick return office visit. Lol.

I submitted my background check 4/19 (Saturday) and received the results 4/22 (Tuesday) so they seem pretty quick. Everyone's experience may be different though depending on any name changes, etc.
