Had a kid bring his wet, bloody tooth and plop it right on my desk.
C'mon now!
Or the kid that did running knee slide into my office.
C'mon now!
The ones old enough to cover their mouths but choose to cough right in your face instead.
All together: C'mon now!!
Some things just make me shake my head.
IN the olden days, a pharmacy had a "bar" in it, complete with stools, and served shakes, floats, ice cream, sodas, candy, and the likes of such things...some even served food. Our pharmacy, when I was growing up, served the best chili I've ever tasted. It might have been out of a Wolf Brand can but it was sure good.
Ah, yes! I remember! The Highland Hills Pharmacy served ice cream - had the best Coke Floats. And a gift shop that sold all sorts of stuff. I used to buy my Ritchie Rich comic books there.
oh, wow, I'm old.

So funny - no pharmacy with a bar in it where I was growing but we did have a store called Thrifty's - it was kindof like a low cost CVS or walgreens type of store that had a ice cream bar section at the exit - like a mini baskin robbins - one scoop of ice cream was .10 - many summer afternoons were spent walking to that store for a triple dip ice cream cone for .30

The Highland Hills Pharmacy is long gone now. Heck, it may have been gone by the time you were born! But it was in San Antonio.

There's one in Duncanville (near Dallas) called Ben Franklin Apothecary. It is a great little place, stop by there if you're ever in the dallas area!
