I'm the new president of Club 265! None of my nursing friends/co-workers had 265 on nclex. They all shut off at 75 and passed (I'm talking like 30 people) and I sat today for almost 6 hours (I'm a slow tester anyway) and answered 265. About 20 SATA's which were cinchy in comparison to the "pick one" questions. weird?????????
I got to such a point of frustration at around 150 that I might have blown it. I'm talking in tears and everything. Took a break, told myself "have a quick little pity party for fun then get peeved and take that exam DOWN!"
Yah, um, just couldn't get past the frustration and exhaustion. I'm my own worst enemy. I certainly don't think it helped me to know about everyone else. It put on some serious pressure (self-inflicted, I know)
So, what's the status of any other Club 265 members? Looking for some comfort here. Let me know either way whether you just took it, took it a long time ago, passed with 265, failed with 265 etc....

One of my classmates called me on Saturday with the news that she passed. Yep, you guessed it! She had 265Q on Thursday when she took it.

I took it with 265 questions..but kind of gave up and towards the last 2 hours or so, just was flying through b/c I knew that I had failed. I was so frustrated that I was the last one in and the damn computer wouldn't shut off...it just kept going, and going and going. It was a nightmare for me.
I do know of classmates that did go to 265 and pass..some even went to the 200 + and passed.

I am in all your positions!!! I just took the exam today took me about 4 hours got 265 and have a bad bad feeling about it! I tried everything this morning to think positive to. From cooking breakfast, playing with my dog, and even blarring the radio on the way to take the exam! I also took the bathroom break, had the pity party, and returned only to try and fight the flow of tears trying so hard to be released. And its fustrating to think that since I have graduated I did the questions along with everything else in my life. Honestly at this very minute I can't even think about having to start reviewing again. Physically and emotionally I need to be done. Now I just sit and wait.....believe me its killing me!
thanks everyone for sharing your experiences, past and present. To those of us in Club 265 still waiting for our results..... good luck!!!! I find out tomorrow.
I go back and forth about it.
You guys are great, thanks again. and GOOD LUCK!!! what's the worst??? We take the test again. Not the ideal but atleast we have another shot. either way.... we can get thru.. :)

Hi, i have a friend who found out she passed today and yes she took 265. However, i know two other people you took the test a few weeks ago and did not get the results they wanted and they also took 265. So it could go either way. But continue to think positive. I took it a few weeks ago and totally bombed it, but I'm starting to study again and i am praying for better results. Good luck to you.
Thanks and good luck to you! You will do great. 2nd times a charm right! :)
Thanks, i sure hope so!!!

i don't know if u've read my posts... but i too got 265qs just 3 days ago. i was sooooooooo nervous no doubt but i think even psyched myself out when my computer kept going after the magical 75 number. i kept at it though even though my heart was beating like crazy. i swear could not even hear myself read the questions... i just kept hitting next and just want the torture to be over... i was the last person done and was numb when i left the testing center. so for the next 2 days i was pretty much delusional and was ready to check myself into a psych facility, jk! so all these torturous feelings are all normal after taking such a beating from nclex. so do what u gottsa do to get rid of them... vent vent vent :hlk: :hlk: :hlk: u r so entitled to!
:tinkbll: best of luck!
