Do you wear certain scrubs on certain days?

I wore union scrubs if we had an event. When I worked in an office, just business casual. When I changed to hospital site, I was one of the only case managers who wore a lab coat. I wore the lab coat in house and in LTC and for home visits.

Once I forgot the lab coat and visited a special client with a checkered past. He said, "lady where is the white coat? You should be wearing that so they know I'm not talking to 5-0." From then on I made sure I had white coat.

My 14 year old and I watched 5 episodes of Hawaii 5-0 last night on Netflix so I'm thinking . . . 5-0 must mean the cops? :)

I wish I was allowed to use fun scrubs! We are provided with scrubs (dresses or tunics). That way in Sweden, we all look the same :D in the summer I spice it up with wearing a dress and rainbow knee socks!

Whoever decided on Royal Blue (or RoyalS Blue if you're in KC) is on my enemy list.

I was scarred for life by a bridesmaid dress in the 80's....... 'tea length', lace over satin, big a** bow right across my big a**. And what really makes it awful was that the marriage didn't last. It was my sister's first of FOUR marriages. Sheesh...

Sorry in advance if we ever cross paths, my friend! I love royal blue! ;)

Navy scrubs are required. I wear a lime green undershirt and have a lime green stethoscope. Go Hawks, indeed! [emoji5]️

I love my KOI scrubs...they make me fit in if i have somewhere to go after work. Very comfortable and fits my style.

I try to make sure that I've always got one thing covering the top half of me, and then another thing covering the bottom half.

I have difficulty telling whether things go together.

Oh, c'mon, Dogen! You've got to give yourself more credit than that!

Pink Wednesday! :barefoot:

We are supposedly color coded and our former administrator was all about that. Our current administrator doesn't seem to give a donkey's behind what we wear so most nurses have returned to the "fun" scrubs. Me? I have a closet full of the so called mandatory color so I usually still wear them. Except on weekends, then the fun prints might make an appearance.

Navy blue, as far as the eye can see...although I am particular enough that I have to match tops with bottoms bought from the same company, in the same fabric. Undershirts are a toss-up. Whatever long-sleeved shirt is on the top of the pile.

Days off are easy. Swap the scrub pants for jeans, the scrub top for a long cardigan/sweatshirt/jacket, and I'm good to go.

...Nony doesn't have a life. :sorry:
