personally, i will have things to do next year though. i have to go through the nursing asst. program first (spring '07). then, we're allowed to take pharmacology and dosage calculations one semester before we start actual nursing school.
of course, there's all those immunizations to look forward to also!
Hi all, I had my orientation on 8/4/08 and I start classes on 8/25/08. I'm soooo excited and nervous at the same time. I just quit my job and moved back in with my folks to have more time to study and take care of my son. Good luck everyone and enjoy the ride.
Hi guys and gals, I also start this fall on Aug 29th! My orientation is on the 20th I am super nervous and super excited, just so many emotions running in my mind! GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US!!!
Good Luck to all!!! I have my orientation on the 22 and then I start class on the 25th of August. I will be taking the following classes: Health Assessment, Dosage Calculation, Patho,Communication for the health Profression and Nurse Professionalism. I'm so nervous also because I know that the next 2 1/2 years of my life will be no games. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about working but that is going to be put on hold for a while until I get settled. I'm not sure if I will ever get settled during the nursing program. I just can not wait to walk across that stage hopefully Dec 2010!!!!! Lets stick together people....We can do this
i had orientation yesterday and tomorrow is my first day in the classroom ive got lots of reading to do before tomorrow and objectives to answer...the stress is already beginning! and a test next wed and fri!!
Wow, tests right away! I am so nervous. I have my orientation next Tuesday (19th) and then classes begin the following Monday (25th), I am so excited. I want to start reading, I want to start procedures, but what if it is too hard?!? Ack, good luck to everyone.
I am so excited, nervous, scared, anxious, etc all together... I have orientation next Friday and start the 26th. I am currently trying to buy my most of my 12 required books (not to mention the 11 recommended).
I can't wait to get started and get over this fear of the unknown.

I also waited a semester to get in into the RN program here. Actually, it would be a year if I hadnt sign the release of information request in the application form. Luckily, the hospital here in our town sponsored me to have a seat in the nursing program.

Start the program on Monday. My how time flies! Eager, excited, nervous, and anxious are my emotions right now. The sheer number of books I picked up last week was incredible - 85 pounds worth! Forget backpacks, I need a three-piece luggage set!

If this is you, you then will remember me. I wrote to you many months ago about getting into the nursing program and was doing my dosage class at that time. I now am about to enter med-surg I, do you have any pointers for me??? also I just took my dosage test today and scored 100% "Go ME!!" write back soon, miss talking with you
